Prior academic studies
Most of my prior collaborations have helped provide greater insights into people’s experiences of health, illness and access to health and social care services.
Much of this research focused on exploring the experiences, and care needs, of vulnerable and/ or marginalised people, and their families as well as considering the perspectives of the health and social care professionals that try to support them.
A number of these projects also involved components that included developing and/or evaluating existing NHS primary and secondary care services, social care, or other interventions, designed to improve treatment and care or wellbeing.
Stakeholder involvement, to inform research, practice, and policy, has also been an important feature of previous projects.
